COMMUNITY GROUPS
THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST ANCHORS THE CHRISTIAN EXPERIENCE IN COMMUNITY. HIS LIFE, DEATH, AND RESURRECTION CREATES A GOSPEL FAMILY IN WHICH THE MANY ARE NOW CALLED ONE.
Simply said, salvation is a community creating event, and the greatest expression of this reality is found in the local church–a community formed by the gospel which reflects the unity of Christ in loving relationships. Community Groups at The Hill Church foster discipling relationships which equip members to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ through their lives together. Groups are made up of 10 to 15 individuals who meet weekly in homes in order to foster relationships which lead to mutual discipleship. Modeled after Acts 2, these groups are centered around the Word of God, gospel-shared living, and biblical worship. The result is a Christian community equipped to be a faithful witness through their lives together as they engage the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Discipleship is the key to our Community Groups. At The Hill, discipleship is described in the context of three relationships - our relationship with God, with each other, and with the world. As such, our Community Groups are committed to helping each other grow as devoted worshippers, loving servants, and Spirit-filled witnesses.

SERVANT TEAMS
THE GOSPEL CALLS US TO EMBRACE THE SERVANT HEART OF JESUS. MOTIVATED BY HIS HUMILITY, WE ARE CALLED TO LOVINGLY AND SACRIFICIALLY SERVE OTHERS.
This reality is central to our understanding of discipleship. We believe that one of the marks of a disciple is being a loving servant committed to serving the body of Christ (John 13:1-17). One of the ways we get to reflect our service towards one another is on Sunday mornings. Our Loving Servant Teams exist to serve the people of The Hill Church, providing a place for people to be loved and served at our Sunday morning worship gatherings. Each team is made up of faithful volunteers who give of their time and talents to serve the body of Christ.

HOSPITALITY
Our Hospitality Team is the first impression made on anyone walking up to the church building. They aim to greet visitors, bringing them from the outside to the inside, while also creating an environment for guests and members alike to hang out and enjoy freshly brewed coffee.
CONNECT
Our Connect Team strives to do just that – connects guests to The Hill. They are the link between our greeters and the gathering. When a guest enters our building our Connect Team is there to be the link between visitor and family, while also helping to answer any questions visitors may have.
MEDIA
Our Media Team strives for excellence during the worship service to allow those gathering to enter that time without unnecessary distractions. This team operates the sound equipment and other media production equipment on Sunday mornings and during special events.
PARKING
Our Parking Team aims to bring guests from the curb to our church community on Sunday mornings. This team arrives early to put out our signage and prepare the grounds for visitors, while also creating a welcoming environment by directing guests to our building.
