GIVING
WE ENCOURAGE OUR MEMBERS AND THOSE WHO REGULARLY ATTEND THE HILL CHURCH TO PRACTICE BIBLICAL STEWARDSHIP BY GIVING A PORTION OF THEIR FINANCES BACK TO GOD.
Giving of our finances is an act of worship and joyful obedience that reflects a generous heart transformed by the grace of God. In 2 Corinthians 8:9 we find the true heart and motive for giving: "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich." Having become rich by Christ's generous grace, we now give generously and sacrificially to advance the mission of God in La Mesa and throughout the world so that others may know and experience the grace of God.
